Whilst setting up for a shot up the Chilkoot river valley, I turned around and noticed some fuzzy large rocks moving on the opposite shore. After a few seconds, I realized fuzzy rocks do not move. A grizzly sow and her two 2-year old cubs were looking for a meal before hibernating. The trio moved down the river, then back up, before crossing over to my side of the river. Two other photographers came along, and we shot until the bears got too close.
